Advanced Industrial Rewinds joins the Rubix family

 

4 May 2021 – We are pleased to share the news that we have become part of Brammer UK Limited (trading as Brammer Buck & Hickman), the trading company of Rubix, Europe’s number one multi-specialist supplier of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products, services and solutions.

 

The AIR business will continue to operate independently as Advanced Industrial Rewinds, from our state-of-the-art Durham premises but will now be ‘A Rubix Company’. This new relationship will mean our customers will also have access to Rubix’s outstanding range of industrial products, engineering services and solutions across the entire MRO mix.

 

The enviable reputation we have built over the last 10 years is rooted in our highly skilled engineering services expertise developed over 40 years in this specialist area of electrical motor rewinds, refurbishment and mechanical repair. Joining the Rubix Group will help them to extend their resources in this key growth area and supplements their existing offer based in their engineering centre in the Durham and the local geographic area. Rubix also shares our “value first” approach, our focus on providing excellent customer service and in building long-lasting business relationships.

 

We will continue to work with our customers as we always have, now from a leading market position, with an expanded range of products and services.

 

Becoming part of Rubix provides new scope to realise our full potential and deliver even greater value to our customers.

John Coils will remain in the business as Workshop Manager, whilst John Lydon will join as General Manager, working alongside Peter Burrows, Head of Engineering at Rubix UK.
