SMC holds over 40 years of trading expertise in the UK, with a purpose built 14-acre production facility and offices located in Milton Keynes. UK customers benefit from bespoke product options, built to their specific needs and assembled in our Milton Keynes facility by hand.

SMC UK is certified to Quality Management System ISO9001:2015. This certification guarantees customer focus and product quality, whilst helping reduce costs, and improve efficiency. In addition, the ISO14001:2015 certified Environmental Management System reduces waste to protect the environment, whilst considering the environmental aspects of production, supply chain management and the product life cycle.

The UK office is co-located with one of SMC’s two European Technical Centres, where around 70 design engineers offer specialist technical support to customers in Europe and collaborate in the design, development and testing of projects with the Japanese Technical Centre.

In addition to the 300 staff based at at the Milton Keynes site, SMC also has a nationwide sales team of 100 technically-trained sales consultants.
