The V-Coil Workshop quick repair kits provide a complete solution for thread repair of the popular metric M5-6-8-10-12. They also offer the benefit of a quick-change system that can be used in combination with a portable drill or ratchet wrench, The V-Coil drills, taps and tenon punches are all supplied with a 1/4 " hex shank for quick tool change, the drills and taps are made of high performance steel and the taps have ground threads. When installed, these V-Coil inserts provide a durable internal thread that is resistant to heat and corrosion. Due to the tight and precise tolerances, the repaired thread is usually more resistant than the original thread. In addition, this kit includes a 1/4 " hex adapter
