Rubix Christmas Toy Appeal Raises over 950 Presents!

 

 

Christmas is all about giving and Rubix staff in the UK have excelled themselves this year in our annual Christmas Toy Appeal. In just a very short time, more than 950 presents have been purchased and donated by our generous staff, family, friends and neighbours, and will be donated to children near our Head Office in Manchester in time for Christmas morning.

 

The last couple of years have been challenging so we’re overwhelmed by the response we’ve had this year. With a considerable number of us continuing to work from home, this year’s Christmas Toy Appeal has seen our Rubix colleagues going the extra metaphorical mile to get their local community involved too. We’ve had donations from such an amazing variety of people and local businesses around the UK, from beauty salons buying from our official gift list, to newsagents donating boxes of chocolate Santas, and even friends knitting and crocheting gifts.

 

With so many families under pressure this year, that extra present will bring festive joy to a young person. So, a huge thank you goes to everyone that donated in whatever capacity they were able to.

 

The children are aged from new-born to 16 years, and this Christmas morning they will wake to discover Santa has indeed visited. Thank you to all those that donated and for helping to keep the magic of Christmas alive for these children!
