And that's exactly what the development engineers at SMC, a leader in automation control, have done: introducing SMC's new compact modular controller with a width of just 14 mm: the ARM5 series.Initially designed to meet the needs of the automotive and electronics industries, the ARM5 series can be mounted either directly or on DIN rail, and benefits from the same key features as the larger models in the current ARM range, such as the reverse flow function as standard, an individual mounting model and an optional integrated pressure gauge. However, this extremely compact new series now includes low-pressure 0.35 MPa setting options and removable push-in fittings that can be changed to suit pipe diameters of 4, 6 or 8 mm.With additional options including centralized or individual supply models, this new compact ARM5 series offers the same space-saving and maintenance-friendly benefits as the current ARM range.
