The 6240 valve is a servo-controlled piston valve. To increase pressure and leakage tightness, the plug and the core guide tube are welded together. Different sealing material combinations are available depending on the application. The design and surface quality of the housing enable maximum flow rates. The coils are potted with a chemically highly resistant epoxy. An optional sliding-ring bearing increases service life with dry gases. To reduce electrical power consumption during operation, coils with integrated kick-and-drop electronics are available in dual-coil technology.
