SMC IZD10-110

Initially developed to work with SMC's IZS31 ionizer, the new electrostatic sensor and controller can accurately measure static electricity potential levels prior to the introduction of preventive measures and, very importantly, confirm the effectiveness of the preventive measures introduced. The IZD10 sensor is currently available in two versions depending on the size of the object under load - ±0.4 kV at 25 mm and ±20 kV at 50 mm - with a sensing distance range of 10 to 50 mm and 25 to 75 mm respectively. Sensor readings are converted to a 1 to 5 Vdc output that can be viewed on the IZE11 electrostatic sensor controller (very compact 30 mm² display) or on other instruments for downstream analysis.With its red and green digital color display, the sensor monitor can be set to one of four possible display modes and can be controlled with NPN or PNP switched output and 1-5 Vdc or 4-20 mA analog output characteristics.
