SMC EASS310-F03 SOFT START VALVE

The ASS series progressive pressure valves (SSC valve) are available with two types of intake and exhaust controls. Both are control valves with speed adjustment functions and fast air supply. The one with exhaust regulation also uses a calibrated orifice. This SSC valve prevents accidents caused by sudden extension of the stem by performing an intake check where there is no pressure, and regains control at the exhaust after the cylinder has been pressurized.
