This INA KR series steel stud-type cam follower bearing with seals and needle rollers is designed for cam- and track-type applications, and supports high radial loads and axial loads resulting from slight misalignments. Its thick-walled outer ring helps minimize deformation under heavy radial and shock loads. The contoured surface of the outer ring evenly distributes loads when misalignments occur. This cam follower has a stud-type mounting design for through-hole or threaded mounting, and a hexagonal hole on the flange end that provides greater holding power during mounting than a screwdriver slot. The contact flange and contact washers provide axial guidance to the outer ring. A roller cage provides guidance and even spacing of the needle rollers for minimum vibration and noise when operated at high speeds. Seals on both sides of the bearing, consisting of plastic axial plain washers with molded seal lips, retain a lithium complex soap grease lubricant applied at manufacture and help protect against contaminants. This cam follower is made of low alloy, through-hardened chromium steel for durability and heat tolerance, and has lubrication holes on the stud’s flange side, thread-side end face, and shank for reapplying lubricant. It includes loose drive-fit lubrication nipples. Operating temperatures range from -30 to +100 degrees C. This cam follower is suitable for use in a broad range of applications including process transfer lines, ram support rollers, conveyors, machine tools, and indexing equipment, among others
