The self-centering internal expansion-clamping ring CLAMPEX KTR 201 is a clamping element with a wide range of applications.
The CLAMPEX KTR 201 clamping element enables a backlash-free and frictional connection between a cylindrical smooth shaft and a hub. The individual parts of the expansion-clamping rings with wedge-shaped cross-sections, which are slid together by the fastening screws, generate radial forces that provide a frictional connection at the contact surfaces of the shaft and the hub bore.
This frictional connection allows simultaneous transmission of torque and axial force.
