One of the most frequent requests from machine builders and manufacturers of production equipment is for smaller, easier-to-use components that require less time for installation and maintenance. The engineers at SMC, world experts in pneumatic automation, have responded perfectly to this expectation with the launch of their ACG / ARG / AWG series, offering a complete range of regulators and filter regulators with integrated pressure gauges, specially designed to save space and costs when panel-mounting regulators or filter regulator units. The anti-rotation pressure gauge integrated into the adjustable knob eliminates the need for additional pressure control systems, and is the highlight of this latest-generation range of compressed air supply components. Thanks to their excellent visibility, the ACG/ARG/AWG series can be clearly read and adjusted, even when mounted in hard-to-reach places, such as close to the ground or at height. The range indexes, used to configure the unit's performance, can be easily adjusted by removing the protective glass from the gauge. In addition, the pressure gauge can be set to one of 4 mounting angles (0º, 90º, 180º and 270º), depending on the position of the fittings. Designed for use with air, up to a maximum pressure of 1.0 Mpa, and with temperatures ranging from -5ºC to 60ºC, these controllers, the fruit of SMC innovations, have been designed to fit perfectly with SMC's existing range of F.R.L. units.
