Markal's original H Paintstik Hot Surface Paint Stick is designed for marking hot metal surfaces up to temperatures of between 225 °F and 1100 °F (107 °C and 593 °C) in steel mills. Ideal for marking billets, coils, bars, plates, forgings and castings, it allows for a resistant marking without sagging, charring, discoloration, flaking or cracking.
Strengths
Marker for hot surfaces: castings, forgings, coils, billets, plates and other hot metal surfaces. Long-lasting use: Usable up to three times longer than chalks for hot surfaces. Permanent quick-drying marking without sagging, charring, discoloration, flaking or cracking. Allows dipping forged parts and others immediately in a cold water bath without risk of damaging the marks. Real paint for a perfectly visible and resistant marking. Erasable in paint remover baths.
