To connect any drive shaft to a driven shaft, Timken Quick-Flex elastomeric couplings are a smart solution. There is no metal-to-metal contact, due to the urethane insert, so no lubrication is needed. Couplings are use to connect motor to gearbox, gearbox to driven equipment and motors to pumps.
Strengths
The Quick-Flex white insert is made of a heat-resistant urethane compound for use in applications where heat is a concern. This insert can handle temperatures up to 177° C (350° F) and provides torque capabilities equal to our blue insert.
Applications
Timken Quick-Flex couplings stand up to harsh environments and operate efficiently in applications including: motor to gearbox (low torque/high speed), gearbox to driven equipment (high torque/low speed), motors to pumps and any drive shaft to a driven drive shaft.
