Where exhaust gases are undesirable or even legally prohibited, our electrically heated hot-water high-pressure cleaners are the machines of choice. The HDS E 8/16-4 M, with a heating output of 36 kW, is the most powerful machine in its class and at the same time extremely energy-efficient. This efficiency is enabled, among other things, by our patented eco!efficiency level, which lowers the operating temperature from a maximum of 85 to 60 °C, as well as by a new insulation of the boiler that reduces the device's power consumption in standby operation by 40 percent. The high operating temperature of up to 85 °C is particularly advantageous for grease- and oil-containing contaminants, and thanks to Servo Control up to 80 °C can be maintained in continuous operation. Further Kärcher innovations such as the EASY!Force high-pressure gun and the EASY!Lock quick-release couplings make work easier for operators and users: while the EASY!Force high-pressure gun exploits the recoil force of the high-pressure jet to reduce the holding force to zero, the EASY!Lock quick-release couplings enable handling that is five times faster than conventional screw connections without any loss of robustness and durability.
