LOCTITE® 518 flange sealant is designed for creating medium-strength flange seals with high contamination tolerance. This semi-flexible anaerobic flange sealant is ideal for assembling rigid metal surfaces made from cast iron, steel and aluminium and fills gaps up to 0.25 mm. It forms a flexible, chemical-resistant seal whilst providing excellent adhesion. Its formulation allows easy disassembly of components, even after repeated use. In addition, it can be easily applied by hand or with a dispensing system, providing a practical and effective solution for ensuring the sealing of rigid flanged connections.
