Strengths
The SKF impact spanners are designed to securely tighten and loosen large-size clamp nuts, especially after a large bearing is pushed over a tapered shaft. They are not designed to be used to drive the bearing over a tapered shaft.
Applications
The TMFN impact wrenches are used mainly for the assembly and disassembly of large bearings on tapered shafts.
