The 3M™ Versaflo™ TR-800E Heavy Industry Kit (TR-800E HIK) is an ATEX-certified powered air respirator system designed to provide reliable respiratory protection in demanding industrial environments. Suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, it combines intrinsically safe operation with effective protection against airborne particulates, gases and vapours, making it an ideal solution for hazardous workplaces.

The TR-800E HIK includes the 3M™ Versaflo™ M-307 Premium Helmet with visor and flame-resistant faceseal, TR-802N intrinsically safe powered air respirator, TR-830 intrinsically safe battery, TR-838 battery attachment tool, BT-30 adjustable-length breathing tube, TR-626 heavy-duty belt, TR-6530N high-efficiency organic vapour and acid gas filter, TR-6500 filter cover, TR-641 battery charger kit, TR-971 airflow indicator, BT-926 high-temperature breathing tube cover, two TR-6600 prefilters, two TR-662 spark arrestors, and the TR-653 storage and cleaning kit.

The system offers three user-selectable airflow settings, allowing the wearer to optimise airflow for maximum comfort. Audible and visual alarms warn the user of low battery charge or insufficient airflow, helping to maintain continuous respiratory protection.

The intrinsically safe powered air unit requires no calibration and automatically maintains a constant airflow, even as the battery discharges or the filter becomes loaded. A secure battery locking mechanism prevents accidental battery removal during use, while an integrated bumper protects the powered air unit against impacts, improving durability in harsh industrial environments.
