LOCTITE® 6300 retaining compound is specifically designed for bonding cylindrical assemblies. It is a high-strength adhesive featuring an anaerobic curing formulation that is free from hazard symbols.
Features:
LOCTITE® 6300 is a single-component retaining compound based on dimethacrylate ester and formulated using anaerobic acrylic technology. This green liquid, which is UV fluorescent, cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. The low viscosity facilitates application to cylindrical fits and assemblies. Secondary curing with an activator is possible when faster cure speeds are required. The formulation is designed to prevent loosening and leakage caused by shock loads and vibration, particularly in gears, pinions, rotors and bearings. This product belongs to the Health and Safety anaerobic range and carries no hazard pictograms.

Applications
LOCTITE® 6300 is used for securing gears and pinions on gearbox shafts, as well as retaining rotors on electric motor shafts. It is also suitable for bonding and retaining bearings and cylindrical metal assemblies manufactured from steel, stainless steel, aluminium or brass. This product is designed for environments exposed to temperature fluctuations, repeated vibration and high mechanical loads, making it suitable for industrial maintenance, general engineering and rotating equipment manufacturing applications.
