Maintenance:
This bearing model is not supplied pre-greased and must be lubricated regularly, ideally with a grease matched to the operating load, temperature and speed. Targeted re-lubrication is possible via the provided lubrication holes in the outer ring and significantly extends the bearing's service life. For applications in dusty or humid environments, careful cleaning of components before applying lubricant is recommended. The thermal stability of the bearing allows operation at temperatures up to 200 °C, provided suitable lubrication is ensured.

Sealing:
The open bearing design is not equipped with integrated seals. This offers advantages such as improved heat dissipation, higher speeds and better efficiency. However, the bearing is consequently more sensitive to external contamination such as dust or moisture. It is therefore advisable to either plan for an external seal or increase the maintenance intervals accordingly to permanently ensure the bearing's performance.
