Maintenance:

In the event of contamination, thorough cleaning is essential before relubrication. The choice of lubricant must be adapted to operating conditions, particularly if temperatures exceed 150 °C. Due to their design, VA406 bearings operate at lower operating temperatures compared to conventional bearings, thereby extending the service life of the lubricant.

Sealing:
