SKF LGEP2 grease and standard radial clearance ensure a good balance between performance, stability, and durability, even under combined loads or misalignment.

Maintenance:
This bearing is filled with 25–45% SKF LGEP 2 grease, an extreme-pressure grease formulated with a mineral base oil and a lithium soap thickener. Suitable for heavy-load applications, it ensures effective lubrication over a temperature range of -20 °C to 110 °C. Its NLGI 2 consistency ensures good adhesion and stability, minimizing wear and friction. Protected by NBR seals on both sides, it provides excellent protection against dust, moisture, and liquids. It features an annular groove and three lubrication holes to facilitate relubrication. This system allows for even distribution of the lubricant and ensures better removal of contaminants, thereby reducing the risk of premature wear and extending the bearing’s service life. This design helps reduce maintenance requirements.

Sealing:
This model is equipped with contact seals on both sides, made of NBR with a steel reinforcement. This technology ensures good resistance to heat, oils, moisture, and chemicals. It keeps the lubricant inside the bearing while preventing external contaminants from entering. However, the seals’ constant contact with the rings slightly reduces the maximum allowable rotational speed but provides enhanced protection.
