The standard internal clearance ensures good load distribution and adequate thermal tolerance. This model features an annular groove and three lubrication holes in the outer ring, facilitating maintenance. It is pre-filled with SKF LGEP 2 high-performance grease, ensuring reliable lubrication for moderate to heavy-duty applications.

Maintenance:
This bearing is supplied pre-filled with 25–45% SKF LGEP 2 grease, a lithium soap-based extreme-pressure grease designed to withstand high loads. It operates within a temperature range of -20 °C to +110 °C. Thanks to its EP formulation and NLGI 2 consistency, it offers excellent adhesion, minimizes wear, and reduces the need for relubrication. When the service life exceeds that of the grease, relubrication may be necessary. In this case, it is recommended to slowly inject the grease through the holes in the outer ring—ideally while the bearing is rotating—to ensure optimal distribution without damaging the seals. It is essential to maintain a clean environment during installation and maintenance to prevent the introduction of contaminants and ensure the reliability of the seals.

Sealing:
HNBR seals provide effective protection against dust, moisture, and liquid splashes. Their contact-seal design limits the ingress of contaminants but results in a slight reduction in the permissible rotational speed compared to an open design. This balance between protection and performance extends the bearing’s service life, even in harsh environments.
