The MHW2 is ideal for applications where space is at a premium. In addition to their compact size, each of the two fingers, synchronized by a rack-and-pinion mechanism, performs a rotary return movement perpendicular to the gripper. In this position, the MHW2 only needs clearance for the body. While the fingers are retracted at a 180-degree angle, the gripper can be moved in an X-Y plane relative to the workpiece.
