tesa® 4688 is a standard textile tape with polyethylene coating. It is based on a 55-mesh PET / rayon fabric backing with pressure-sensitive natural rubber adhesive.
tesa® 4688 is a typical repair tape, suitable for various applications with very good processing characteristics.
Characteristics:
* good adhesive strength even on rough surfaces,
* water resistant,
* easy to unroll,
* tesa® 4688 is AREVA-certified according to the requirements of the Siemens AG standard TLV 9027/01/06 for nuclear power plants: total halogen content < 1000 ppm; total sulphur content < 1000 ppm,
* available in 8 colours: black, white, grey, yellow, blue, red, green, brown.
