Felt tips with metal insert (MS) are used for high stock removal during preliminary polishing with diamond polishing pastes. The STBO version with frontal perforation is particularly suitable for face machining.
Strengths
The various diameters and shapes can also be used to polish parts with complex geometrical shapes. PFERD felt tools can be freely profiled.
Applications
Felt tools are mainly used for high-gloss polishing.
