Product details : SKF LOW TEMP BEARINGGREASE LGEP 2/1
SKF LGEP 2 grease is a high-performance grease designed for the lubrication of bearings subjected to heavy loads and extreme conditions. Its mineral oil-based formulation, thickened with lithium soap and enriched with extreme-pressure (EP) additives, ensures reliable protection even in the presence of significant vibrations.
Features:
Thanks to its stable structure and advanced properties, this grease ensures excellent mechanical stability in harsh environments. It offers enhanced protection against corrosion, even in the presence of water, and maintains its lubricating performance over a wide temperature range. Its formulation helps prevent wear on mechanical components under high pressure, thereby extending equipment service life. The grease also retains very good cohesion and does not break down easily, even under high mechanical stress.
Specifications:
• DIN 51825 code: KP2G•20.
• NLGI consistency class: 2.
• Thickener type: lithium soap.
• Color: light brown.
• Various packaging options available.
• Base oil type: mineral.
• Operating temperature range: from •20 to +110 °C.
• Dropping point (DIN ISO 2176): > 180 °C.
• Base oil viscosity: 200 mm²/s at 40 °C and 18 mm²/s at 100 °C.
• Mechanical stability (50-hour roller test at 80 °C): +50 max.
• Corrosion protection (Emcor test, ISO 11007): 0 • 0.
• Lubricity (R2F test, Type B at 120 °C): Pass.
• Weld load (4 balls, DIN 51350/4): ≥ 2800 N.
Standards:
• ISO 11007: Emcor test (corrosion protection).
• DIN ISO 2176: drop point.
• DIN ISO 2137: penetration.
• DIN 51 807/1: water resistance.
• DIN 51 817: oil separation.
• DIN 51 811: copper corrosion.
• DIN 51825: product classification.
• Directive 2008/98/EC: waste management.
• REACH Regulation: registration of chemical substances.
