SKF LUBRICANT - LGMT3/1

SKF LGMT 3 grease is a premium-quality industrial grease designed for applications requiring high consistency. Formulated with a mineral base oil and a lithium soap thickener, it provides excellent corrosion protection and high oxidation stability. Its formulation is suitable for bearings with a diameter exceeding 100 mm that are subjected to significant mechanical loads.

SKF LGMT 3 grease is distinguished by its high consistency (NLGI 3), making it ideal for large-diameter bearings and environments where anti-seize properties are critical. Thanks to its lithium soap thickener and mineral base oil, it offers very good adhesion to metal surfaces, even under wet conditions. It provides long-lasting protection against corrosion, with excellent performance in EMCOR tests, including in the presence of water. Its mechanical stability and resistance to oxidation ensure reliable operation over long periods, even at high ambient temperatures or under prolonged loads. It is also compatible with a wide range of industrial and automotive applications, thereby facilitating the standardization of lubricants across machinery fleets.

This LGMT 3 grease complies with the following standards:
- DIN 51825 K3K-30: specifies performance requirements for lithium-based lubricating greases suitable for a temperature range of –30 to +120 °C. It guarantees thermal stability, water resistance, and corrosion protection in accordance with the criteria defined by the European standard. NLGI consistency class: 3. This means the grease has a firm consistency, suitable for applications where good mechanical retention is required, particularly in vertical or large bearings. This grade ensures that the grease remains securely in place, even under conditions of vibration or heavy loads.
- ISO 11007 (Emcor test): evaluates the corrosion protection of greases in the presence of water; LGMT 3 achieves the highest possible rating (0–0) in this test, ensuring maximum reliability in humid environments.
