LOCTITE® 603 retaining compound is a high-strength solution designed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, including bearings, bushings and shafts. It is particularly suitable for applications where the bonded surfaces cannot be thoroughly cleaned, thanks to its ability to cure even in the presence of anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids. The low viscosity makes it effective for reinforcement of close-fitting assemblies and slip-fitted parts with minimal clearance, ensuring durable and reliable retention. This adhesive provides strong resistance to shock loads and vibration, helping to prevent loosening and leakage.
