The geometry without a central shoulder, combined with two lateral retaining shoulders on the inner ring, ensures secure axial guidance and uniform load distribution, even under varying loads. This bearing is compatible with high rotational speeds and is perfectly suited for continuous-duty applications.

Maintenance:
The open design allows for easy visual inspection and simplified maintenance. The bearing is equipped with an annular groove and three lubrication holes on the outer ring, facilitating relubrication during operation. The use of a suitable lubricant—whether oil- or grease-based—is essential depending on operating conditions. Thorough cleaning of the housing is recommended before relubrication, particularly in contaminated environments. The brass cage can withstand continuous temperatures up to 200°C, provided a compatible lubricant is selected. 

Sealing:

This facilitates visual inspection and access to lubrication points, but makes it susceptible to external contaminants such as dust, moisture, or solid particles. For dirty environments or those subject to splashing, it is recommended to install a protective housing or an external seal.
