The headband version features an electrically insulated twin headband that helps reduce heat build-up on the top of the head, together with a plastic-coated stainless steel wire construction that provides one of the most durable headbands available from 3M.
Features:
The wide, flat headband is covered with soft plastic to ensure consistent pressure across the top of the head, delivering excellent comfort throughout prolonged use. As no metal parts are exposed, the headband version offers a dielectric design, providing electrical resistance for applications where there is a risk of sparks or electrical charge.
Precision-moulded adjustment sliders allow quick and easy fitting while the earmuffs are being worn. Wide, soft foam ear cushions enhance wearer comfort, while the slim earcup profile improves compatibility with other personal protective equipment.
To suit different working environments and user preferences, helmet-mounted versions are also available. The P5 version offers the same dielectric properties as the headband model, while the P3 helmet-mounted version and the neckband version are available for applications where electrical insulation is not required.
