Bond metal to metal with 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 7240, an excellent toughened adhesive that’s formulated to last. Our two-part epoxy resin adhesive is certified for use on trains. It meets the self-extinguishing requirement of FAR25 (vertical burn) and you can be confident it will wear for the long term, due to high shear and peel adhesion. It’s designed with 300 μ m glass beads for accurate glue line control.

3M Scotch Weld 7240 FR B/A epoxy adhesive is a toughened, two-part epoxy adhesive with a 2:1 mix ratio, 45 minute work life and handling strength in approximately 6 hours. This product is very durable and commonly used in applications in the transportation industry.
