LOCTITE® 2701 is a green methacrylate-based thread locker designed for applications requiring high resistance, in particular for chrome surfaces. Can be used on all metals. The fixing time on steel is 10 min, 4 min on brass and 25 min on stainless steel. Ideal for applications where product migration should be avoided. - Green thread locker with low viscosity. - Fluorescent thixotropic under UV light to be able to be controlled.
Strengths
The product polymerizes when it is confined in the absence of air between metal surfaces with a small clearance. Its function is to prevent movements, loosening, undesirable corrosion phenomena and leaks due to shocks and vibrations. The water-tightness of the threads allows drilling.
Applications
LOCTITE® 2701 is particularly suitable for permanent braking and sealing of threaded connections.
