Strengths
116 temperatures available from 38 °C (100 °F) to 1 093 °C (2 000 °F). The stick melts instantly at the specified temperature for a simple, immediate visual check. Total reliability without calibration. Accuracy to +/-1% in Fahrenheit and +/-3% in Celsius. Meets the preheat temperature requirements of AWS D1.1, ASME Code Sec. I, III and VIII, ANSI/ASME Code B31.1 and B31.3. Reference, temperature and lot number appear on the indicator for improved traceability. Made in the USA
