Product details : 3M 89705 ROLOC FIBRE DISC 787C 75MM 120+ PK5
Manufactured to deliver ultra-fast cutting, the 787C 3M™ Roloc™ disc features 3M’s PSG precision grain. Our discs are durable and tear-resistant. Their rigid fiber backing and strong resin, together with the fast-cutting grain, allow the operator to complete more parts with each disc and with fewer disc changes. These discs include a sanding booster that keeps both the disc and the workpiece cool, helping to extend disc life. The 787C discs are an excellent choice for weld removal, stock removal and finish optimization on stainless steel and nickel-rich alloys. For exceptional cutting, durability and ease of use, 787C represents a significant performance advance over conventional fiber discs. The advanced solution for demanding applicationsAchieve a balance between cost and performance by selecting the abrasive that offers the right amount of cut and life. The 3M Roloc 787C fiber disc contains the exact amount of precision grain (PSG) needed to optimize the balance between speed and life for tough applications, from sanding to deburring. The discs’ exceptional life and cut performance make them some of 3M’s best sanding discs for high-production environments, delivering significant advantages over conventional fiber discs. For jobs where an extra-premium fiber disc might be underutilized and where productivity is an important factor in the end result, these fiber discs offer outstanding performance. They are an excellent choice for a wide range of applications, including edge chamfering, beveling, deburring and weld removal.Speed up production with 3M PSG precision grainDeveloped to deliver improved heavy material removal, 3M’s PSG precision grain technology enables operators to complete finishing tasks faster and with less effort. It wears evenly because the abrasive stays cooler and sharper. PSG abrasives last significantly longer than their conventional ceramic counterparts, ensuring sustained high performance in production applications. To achieve this level of performance, 3M engineers apply a proprietary micro-replication technology to create precise triangular structures of 3M™ ceramic grain and then electrostatically orient them on the backing to form sharp peaks. These ultra-sharp peaks cut metal cleanly instead of creating scratches or grooves like conventional abrasives, and they continuously resharpen as the points fracture. The Roloc™ system allows easy attachment to tools. The 787C fiber discs are available in diameters between 5,08 cm and 10,16 cm for use with Roloc TR and TSM connection systems. Select discs with the attachment design for your system.Tips for optimal useFiber discs are heavy-duty abrasives that feature a rigid, durable vulcanized fiber backing that withstands wear and is suitable for demanding sanding applications. For optimal performance, the disc should be used with a 3M™ Roloc™ backing of the appropriate density for the application—a softer backing for lighter sanding applications and a firmer, higher-density backing for more demanding sanding applications. Using the correct backing for the application ensures the abrasive mineral is resharpened, which increases abrasive life.3M designed for peak productivity3M Abrasives engineers understand the abrasive manufacturing process well.
