3M™ Soft Edge Masking Foam Tape is a foam cord partly coated in an adhesive. 3M™ Soft Edge Masking Foam Tape (SEMFT) is used for masking door, bonnet, and boot apertures to produce a soft finish to the painted edge. SEMFT also acts as barrier to dust and paint penetrating the interior of the vehicle and been blown out onto the wet paint film during the painting process
