A good example is our new KQ2, universal fitting, which requires up to 30% less force to insert and seal a pipe and 20% less resistance to remove it. This makes the fittings even faster and easier to assemble, resulting in lower labor costs. In addition to the compact and lightweight solutions in the existing range, the new KQ2 series offers even smaller dimensions for small spaces, with up to 23% reduced width and up to 24% reduced height, making the overall fittings 57% lighter than previous models. The KQ2 series also features two thread materials: brass and brass and nickel-plated and two types of seals, a design with sealant or with gasket, which allows pipe replication and prevents contamination in the case of the gasket. In addition, the KQ2 series offers different thread types of M, R, NPT, UNF and Uni, and a full range of diameters from Ø2mm, which can now operate air-saving in low-flow applications and up to Ø16mm to improve cycle times in high-flow applications.
