Freudenberg's wiper PU 6 is a single-acting PUR wiper with static sealing edge on the outside diameter. The dirt wiper has bearing segments on the heel of the wiper and a lightly rounded wiper lip. The careful fitting is a prerequisite for the correct funciton of the Wiper PU 6. Generally, wipers can be quickly and easily fitted by defomring into a kidney shape.
Strengths
The wiper prevents from ingress of dirt and water spray via outside diameter. It reliably wipes away dirt and leaves a residual film of oil on the retracting rod. No twisting and pressure build-up between seal and wiper. It is highly wear-resistant.
Applications
The wiper can be used in mining, earth moving equipment, presses, injection moulding machines and support cylinders.
