- Use precautions
- Clean and degrease the product which will receive the heat shrink tubing.
- Select the correct heat shrink tubing diameter according to the allocation table.
- Determine a place where the sheath will not harm ergonomics. If possible, choose a place where the sheath can no longer escape once retracted.
- Respect the maximum recommended weight.
- Heat the sheath to approximately 3 cm with a conventional FACOM E.2015 heat gun. Be careful not to burn the strap.
- Leave to cool for 5 minutes to obtain optimum adhesion of the adhesive.
- Check the correct bonding.
- Check your equipment periodically.
