FAG 22318-E1-XL-K-C4 SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARING

The spherical roller bearing design gives a number of characteristics which are essential to many applications. These bearings have two rows of barrel shaped rollers which share a curved raceway in the outer ring and two inner ring raceways inclined at an angle to the bearing axis. The centre point of the outer ring curvature is the bearing axis. This gives the spherical roller bearing a self- aligning capability and the ability to accommodate heavy radial loads and axial loads in both directions. Bearings are available with either a parallel bore or tapered bore for easy mounting on a shaft or sleeve with a corresponding taper. Sealed variants are also available in some sizes.
