Developed for automotive paint finishing, the 3M™ Hookit™ Purple Finishing Film Abrasive Disc 260L supports the removal of surface defects from topcoats before repainting or buffing. The aluminium oxide abrasive provides a fast cut and long disc life, while the P1200 grit is suited to fine sanding operations on automotive paint systems.

Features:
The 260L film abrasive disc is used to level orange peel, dust nibs and paint runs in automotive paints and to sand topcoat for blending. It can also be used to scuff blend areas before painting. The film-backed construction incorporates aluminium oxide mineral, while the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment allows the disc to be removed easily from a compatible backup pad. Compared with scuffing pads, the disc is faster and easier to use; The process is also quicker and cleaner than with wet sanding.
