General note: TORX PLUS® tools are superior to TORX® tools with regard to torque transmission due to their larger contact surface with the screw.
The TORX® system and the TORX PLUS® system are only unilaterally compatible: a TORX PLUS® screw can also be handled (to a limited extent) with conventional TORX® tools. However, it is not possible to use TORX PLUS® tools for a TORX® profile screw.
Diamond-coated tip. Especially suitable for threaded joints in sensitive materials and on high-quality surfaces.
