It gives protection up to 1260°c and also has a wipe clean silicone backing feature to ensure the cleanliness of the product for best results. This new improved version has increased heat protection with the gold vermiculite coating with ecomab™ body soluble class "0" infiland and increased strength and integrity with the wire reinforced kevlar thread binding. The plumbers super-mat can be used in tight spaces, corners and around pipework because of its flexible construction this mat is also completely asbestos free.
