Product details : STAHLWILLE 20 SERIES DOUBLE ENDED OFFSET RING SPANNER 12 X 13MM
Made from chrome-alloy steel and then chrome-plated, Stahlwille’s STABIL® 20 double-angled wrenches combine thin-walled rings with 12-point AS-Drive profiles to enable precise work in confined spaces.
Features:
The STABIL® 20 is a double-polygonal ring spanner, angled at 75°, whose geometry allows it to reach fastenings in confined or angular spaces that are inaccessible to conventional spanners. A special manufacturing process produces thin-walled rings: thin enough to fit into tight spaces, yet strong enough to withstand high loads. The height of the ring exceeds that of standard nuts, preventing any jamming during tightening.
The 12-point AS-Drive profile applies force to the flat surfaces of screw and nut heads, rather than their edges, thereby minimising the risk of rounding. The tool’s body features a central recess inspired by the IPN beam principle, which increases resistance to bending whilst keeping the weight to a minimum. Stahlwille’s characteristic ‘round finished’ design gives the spanner a smooth, non-slip grip, even with oily hands. Each piece is forged, hardened and oil-quenched to ensure tight manufacturing tolerances and repeatable precision.

Standards:
The STABIL® 20 range complies with DIN 838 and ISO 10104, which set out the requirements for double-ended offset and deep-offset polygonal spanners.
Strengths
- Easy access: the 75° angle and thin-walled rings allow you to reach fasteners in narrow or winding areas where standard spanners cannot fit.
- Protection of fasteners: the 12-sided AS-Drive profile transfers force to the flanks, which protects the edges of screws and nuts and reduces the risk of rounding.
- Structural strength: the IPN recess in the centre of the body increases load-bearing capacity and flexural rigidity without adding weight to the tool.
- Enhanced durability: forging from chrome alloy steel, followed by hardening and chrome plating, ensures high resistance to corrosion and wear over time.
Applications
This range is designed to meet the needs of work on mechanical assemblies where manoeuvring space is limited: engine compartments, transmissions, machine chassis or structural assemblies in confined spaces:
- General mechanical engineering.
- Car and heavy goods vehicle workshops.
- Industrial maintenance.
- Manufacturing.
- Metallurgy.
- Etc.
