Manufactured to exacting standards, with HPQ high performance steel, chrome plated, with extra long reach and a 15° angle. Stahlwille HPQ spanners are manufactured from selected tough steel alloys. The result is extremely high load capacity with exceptionally thin rings. HPQ spanners are free of cadmium and are therefore suitable for use on titanium alloy fasteners as used in the aerospace industry, where safety is a crucial factor. Equipped with Anti-Slip Drive (AS Drive) profile which permits high transmission of forces to the lands of nuts and bolts without damaging them. The plating process prevents 'chrome flake', a common problem found. Firstly the spanners are nickel plated and then chrome plated. This gives the tool it's distinctive 'matte' look, which is intentional and it also makes the spanner much easier to grip in oily environments.
