TIMKEN NUP230EMAC3 CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARING

Single-row cylindrical roller bearings with a cage comprising cylindrical rollers caged between a solid outer and inner ring. These bearings have a high level of rigidity, can support heavy radial loads and are suitable for high speeds. The inner and outer rings can be fitted separately, making installation and removal a simple process. Single-row cylindrical roller bearings are available in various designs. The most common models are NU, N, NJ and NUP. The main difference is the configuration of the ribs.

NUP model:
The outer ring of an NUP cylindrical bearing has two fixed ribs, whereas the inner ring of the cylindrical bearing has one fixed rib and one loose rib. This means that the NUP cylindrical bearing is able to axially locate the shaft in both directions.

Cylindrical roller bearing type NUP has a double ribbed outer ring and a single-ribbed inner ring with an abutting loose rib, which allows the bearing to provide axial location and to carry light thrust loads in both directions
