Redashe are proud to announce the introduction of a new slowmotion system incorporated into our compact range of reels. This has additional safety benefits compared to our standard compact range. The compact spring rewind reel operates with a normal retraction system but should the operator lose his grip on the hose, then the system senses the over-speed retraction and slows the hose to a safe speed by means of a centrifugal brake. This protects the operator, work colleagues, vehicles, surrounding equipment and of course the reel itself. This is the first time we have offered a safety system on our polypropylene reels.
