The Moore and Wright Coating Thickness Gauge for non-ferrous material is specifically designed for the non-destructive measurement of coating and paint thickness. This durable coating digital thickness gauge is an essential tool for material surface treatment and widely used in the manufacturing industry, metal-processing industry, chemical industry, and commodity inspection.
The easy-to-perform zero-point correction feature provides accurate measurement results even for applications with minimal changes in shape and substrate material. The one-point calibration function allows for adaption in cases of severe changes in shape or substrate material, enabling high-precision measurements in selected measurement ranges.
Suitable for laboratory, workshop and outdoor use, the Moore and Wright Coating Thickness Gauge works on the eddy current principle and is suitable for detecting the insulating coating's thickness on materials such as paint, anodizing and ceramics on aluminium, copper, and brass substrates.
