The cooling system may be tested for internal and external leaks in the quickest possible way. The tester is fitted to the radiator filler neck/expansion bottle and the system pressurised. Cap testing is easily carried out, and the pressure gauge allows testing to manufacturers specification. Universal expansion plugs fit most car, van and commercial radiator apertures. Two standard kits allow the following critical tests to be carried out: Cooling system leak check: Thermostat and thermo-switch operation: Temperature gauge operation. Contains an all metal hand pump, flexible hose, pressure gauge with protective rubber shroud, thermometer dual calibrated °C and °F, expansion plug and connectors.
