The four-die crimping pliers for turned contacts of the 97 52 series from Knipex are equipped with a mounted positioner for precise crimping of pin and socket contacts. They are designed to ensure consistently high crimp quality.

Features:
This pliers features a mounted positioner that holds turned pin and socket contacts exactly in position during the crimping process. The mechanism is based on a synchronized feed of the crimp punches, causing the contact to be evenly formed around the conductor. The travel of the punches can be finely adjusted via an adjustment wheel, allowing the crimp pressure to be precisely adapted to different conductor cross-sections. The mechanical interlock ensures that the crimp cycle is fully completed before the pliers can be opened again. An integrated recalibration function allows the basic setting to be checked using the supplied test pin. The tool is delivered in a plastic case with foam insert, including the mounted and interchangeable positioner to extend the application range to contacts from other manufacturers.
