Progressive cutting edges: For cutting hard materials such as piano string close to the hinge section and for cutting of soft material such as copper and insulated wire closer to the tip. Hinge for excellent operation and precision outlining of the cutting angles. The distance from the hinge centre to the cutting edges is minimized, resulting in greater leverage and increased cutting capacity. Rounded jaws require less space in less accessible places.
